How do compartments close Zip lock , zipper or another way? Do you have ant intentions on making one for bass worms?
Ken Ktytor – May 8, 2019
Hello Randall, the pockets are 16 gauge double polished vinyl. It is very pliable and sticks to itself. The shingled design also helps seal the pocket. The Big Hitter is designed to perfectly fit the soft plastic packages. You probably do not want to put your bass worms directly into the pockets as they may stick to the vinyl.

This tackle organizer works well for your larger crank baits, but works amazingly well for all of your soft plastics!

I absolutely love the versatility of all of the Wraptor products! They can be used for fishing, camping, hunting, or just about anyway you’d like. It’s really nice to have the ability to roll it up and have it stored out of the way for portages from one lake to another. No worries about your tackle or gear getting mixed up if you happen to drop it.
DANIEL F DARRINGTON – July 18, 2019
I love my wraptor big hitter. I can keep my most used plastics hooks and lures close at hand and it’s easy to access. I highly recommend it
Kenny P – August 21, 2019
The big hitter is my Lake Erie roll’s, it holds all sizes of big deep diving lures and is great for maximizing storage in the boat!
Sarah – August 22, 2019
I use a lot of plastics when I bass fish and this is the perfect way to keep them looking new. You can still keep them in the packaging and not have to worry about the color fading plus it keeps everything organized

Any problems with cracking or tearing or seams coming undone with the clear vinyl
Ken Ktytor – September 26, 2019
Hello Kimberly, we use 16 gauge double polished vinyl with UV inhibitors. Our original unit has been in use since 1994. The exact same vinyl is being used today with absolutely no issues. The seams are radio frequency welded, which is the best system we are aware of for sealing. In the unlikely event of an issue, we will replace your Wraptor Tackle Roll.

what about accumulation moisture in the plastic sleeves? Rusty hooks?
Ken Ktytor – March 8, 2020
There are aeration vents in the corners of each pocket. These provide a small amount of air movement as a rust deterent. When temperatures and humidity are high, there is a possibility of condensation accumulating in the pockets. In these conditions, we suggest storing your Wraptor in a area of good air movement. The stainless steel grommets can be used to hang your tackle roll in an open air environment. It is also good to hang your units in front of a fan or in the sun in extreme conditions. Thanks for your inquiry.

This product is just so amazing that it’s hard to describe in words. I went from filling up a rod locker with shoe box size bins Full of plastics to just filling up a small compartment In the back of the boat with the “big hitter” model stuff to brim. I wanna say I got 7 big hitters stuffed with plastics and everything is so organized and easy to get to and it keeps my boat clean! Boot the box, you won’t regret it!

Does the plastic and the lures stick together over time?
Ken Ktytor (verified owner) – March 1, 2022
As far as we know, paint and other coatings from major brands will not stick to the vinyl. Our original prototype is still holding most of the same lures since 1994. However, some custom paints may have reactive chemicals.

I’m on the prostaff and have had 2 friends buy the big hitter and they love it ! . I own 1 and I’m ordering another , they are so slick , they roll and unroll in seconds which gives you more time to fishing . My future son-in-law also has a grand slam , so they are becoming a big deal in my fishing community!

These are so great! I can’t say enough about these rolls! They save so much room and better yet time! You DO get what you pay for!!
Paul Johnston – March 28, 2021
What I see would make rough days on the water so much easier. Less stressful days are so much more time to do what is needed.

How does it do with Zman Plastics? I know sometimes Zman can loose their original shapes if packed too tightly together
Ken Ktytor (verified owner) – July 26, 2021
This is one of the most common storage solutions with our products. Soft plastics can be stored in a Wraptor, in the original, sealed packaging prior to placement into vinyl pouches. Specific soft plastic brands, including Z-Man, use chemicals that will interact with the vinyl. Please heed warnings on packaging prior to storage in a Wraptor Tackle Roll and you will have no issues.

Is the top pocket supposed to open from the back? All the other pockets open from the front.
Ken Ktytor (verified owner) – December 25, 2021
The top pocket sleeve is reveresed. This works with the shingled design for shedding water, plus helps secure the top contents. Thanks for asking.

What size would you recommend for lures for salmon fishing on the Great lakes?
The Big Hitter (24 pockets) would work well for most of your spoons. The Grand Slam (12 deep pockets) would work well for flies and meat rigs. The Slugger Pro (8 pockets) is designed to hold 10 – 11″ flashers doubled up in 5 of the pockets and will fold into a 3″ x 6″ x 18″ cube. You could also store flies in the 3 empty pockets or, store some of the flashers with rigs attached.
Tim Robertson – September 3, 2022
What’s the right size for typical Salmon spoons? 5″ long approx
