    I see a ton of plastic pockets. In my experience that plastic got hot and sticky. It pulled paint off of lures, softened plastics and made them difficult to hang on a hook. Have you addressed this issue and how? Also, how did you come up with such an expensive price point. I see these being more in the $10-$15 range. What makes them worth so much more?

      Hello Jonny,
      Thanks for asking. The material used for the pockets is 16 gauge double polished vinyl (PVC). It may get softer in extreme heat but your concerns are typically caused by a reaction from non-compatible chemicals. We are not aware of any name brand lures where this is a problem with Wraptor Tackle Roll, as the manufacturers have figured this out. We advise using caution with off brand lures and custom painting.
      For soft plastics, the product called or similar to Elaz-Tech can cause this reaction. The manufacturer has a warning label on the packaging. However, as long as you keep the soft plastics in the original packages when placing into the vinyl pockets, you will not have a problem.
      We have been using our original prototype since 1994 and have not experienced any of the issues you are concerned with. The field testing continues.
      As far as pricing goes, we use high quality materials such as Cordura 1000 military grade canvas, the vinyl was chosen through vigorous testing, and all components are resistant to corrosion and include UV inhibitors. Wraptor Tackle Rolls are extremely labor intensive to assemble and require commercial grade sewing equipment. The vinyl pockets are not heat welded, they are Radio Frequency Welded (RFW) which is a service offered by only a handful of fabricators.
      Wraptor Tackle Rolls are warranted from defects in material and workmanship for 2 years from date of purchase.

    This is one of my favorite Wraptor Tackle Rolls! I use the Starting Line-Up for day trips where I’ve been invited to go fish with a friend in their boat. This Wraptor is great because you can get a handful of jigs, a few crank baits, your spinners, and some plastics inside and you are set for almost any fishing technique. My friends like that I bring my Wraptor Tackle Roll because it takes up much less room in their boat than a traditional tackle box, leaving less clutter in the boat.

    I have a few different models, but I love the versatility of the Starting Lineup! I’m able to get some of my favorite different types of bait in this and take my kayak to places that boats can’t access. It’s really nice for portaging into those remote places and perfect to put in a backpack and be out of the way.

    First noticed these three years ago at Columbus OH expo. Kicked myself for not buying it a first then week later at the Indianapolis IN show I seen them and got one. Needles to say I have two of my own and have bought a few for my dad for gifts. With the test of ages I’ve never had any issues and prefer them any day over tackle boxes. Their great to put in a backpack fishing from shorelines and great for placing in boat and using little space. The price is worth every penny spent.

    I mainly fish for bass, so with that being said, I have couple of this model. One of them is so stuffed with football jigs, I believe I have 72 in it with plenty of room for more. The other one I have with all my terminal tackle for all my different bass rigs. Using these over a box makes it so much easier to see what I need and have it readily available. Not to mention it saves tons of space!

    Which one one be good for spinnerbaits. And such?

      The Grand Slam is designed for around three large (1-1.5oz)spinner baits per pocket. Or around 6 smaller baits per pocket. For spinner bait storage, the Grand Slam is designed to fold instead of roll.

      I would say Big Hitter for small up to half ounce and the Grand Slam for anything bigger.
